About the Therapist

Diana Menzies-Smith BTAA IIHHT RSA VTCT is  a Master Practitioner of The Bowen Technique and is registered with the Bowen Association UK and Bowen Therapy Academy of Australia.  She has completed "Masters Specialised Bowen Procedures 2",  “Working with Bad Backs”, the “Immobile, Stroke and Chronic Fatigue”, "Sports Bowen", "Strapping", "Mind Body & Bowen" and “Mother and Baby” courses (Bowen during pregnancy and on the newborn).


Diana is qualified to give Indian Head Massage, Ayurvedic "Face Lift" Massage and  Reiki healing.  She has a VTCT Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology, an RSA Certificate in Counselling Skills in the Development of Learning and a First Aid Appointed Persons Certificate. She qualified in 1989 as an RSA Exercise to Music Teacher and often gives remedial exercises to aid recovery. 

During your initial consultation (which can also be in French or Spanish) you will be asked to complete a Confidential Client Information Sheet which consists of questions relating to your health. (Clients will be given information about After Care, such as avoiding sitting for more than 1/2 hour at a time on the day of treatment after their session and to avoid strenuous exercise for 2 - 4 days.)  Each person is an individual and their reactions will be different.  (Patients should have no other manipulative treatment for four days before and five days after BOWTECH®.)
